A Time to Read

Do you have a reading list? Do you have a bookshelf full of books that you have not read yet? Setting aside 20 minutes to sit and take in some new information whether it is fiction or nonfiction can be a great way to relax.

Here are some of the books on my read and unread shelves that I have enjoyed or am looking forward to enjoying:

The Lazy Genius Way by Kendra Adachi

Rhythms of Renewal by Rebekah Lyons

Get out of Your Head by Jennie Allen

Dangerous Liaisons by Pierre Choderlos De Laclos

Tiny Pretty Things by Charaipotra Clayton

The Best Yes by Lisa Terkeurst

Soul Detox but Craig Groeschel

Awake and Alive to Truth by John L. Cooper

Black Ballerinas by Misty Copeland

Is it a perfect list? No. Is it a list of all of my books? No. Am I trying to learn new things? Yes. Do you need an open mind to read and learn about some of these topics? Yes. Do we all have more to learn? Yes. So let’s go. Add what you would add to the list in the comments. I am open to suggestions! 20 minutes a day may seem like a lot, but when you actually do it, it really isn’t too much to ask for. Grab something to drink, maybe a snack and sit down to enjoy whether it is a physical copy, an audio book, or on your device. Sit, read, and relax.

🙂 -Em
